Proxy
Proxy mode is a compatibility pattern for systems that need to keep wavebird behind a controlled HTTP boundary. It is not the primary integration path and should stay a deliberate architecture choice, not the default.
Use when required
Keep this pattern for constrained environments with fixed ingress rules, policy gateways, or hard separation between browser and runtime services.
Keep the public model intact
Even behind a proxy, the target behavior should still map cleanly to the canonical public API and not invent a separate product contract.
